The Fool's Journey

The Fool’s Journey is my debut project: two EPs, twelve tracks, and one continuous passage through transformation. Together, they form a sonic map of where I’ve been, what I’ve had to face, and who I’m becoming. When I began this project, I stepped into the role of The Fool: standing at the edge of something new, knowing only that I needed to leap. I didn’t know where I would land, only that the process itself would shape me.

In tarot, The Fool’s Journey represents the evolution of the soul: the way we move through life’s thresholds, lessons, and awakenings. The Major Arcana cards aren’t just symbols; they are mirrors, portals, archetypes that hold our shadows and our potential. From the beginning, I knew I didn’t want to follow the traditional order of the cards. Instead, I chose the twelve archetypes that resonated with me most deeply in that moment- twelve cards that reflected my own challenges, patterns, and growing pains. These weren’t just concepts; they were the emotional landscapes I was actually living in.

Each card became an anchor point. A way into myself. A way to understand the things I couldn’t name yet.

As I created these tracks, tarot became a language I spoke privately with myself—revealing where I needed to heal, what I needed to release, and where I was being invited to grow. Some cards illuminated parts of me I had been avoiding; others offered clarity, encouragement, or the reminder that transformation is not always gentle, but it is always purposeful. Through each archetype, I found a story, a sound, a feeling—and little by little, the music became a map of my inner world.

Sonically, this project became my own leap of faith. I allowed myself to break out of old boxes, explore new genres, experiment with textures, and write from a place that felt raw and honest. The creative process mirrored the tarot itself: unpredictable, revealing, sometimes uncomfortable, but always guiding me deeper into who I am. In learning the language of the cards, I learned the language of myself.

These two EPs are the result of that journey—twelve reflections of twelve moments in my life, bound together by the desire to understand myself more fully. This project captures the space between who I was and who I’m becoming. It documents the questions, the unraveling, the rebuilding. It is both the beginning and the becoming.
